The contribution of the Teachers’ Civic Competencies, outside the subject-matter of “civics education”, in developing the students’ Civic Agency in Lebanese schools.

The poster summarizes a study done on a sample representing the variety of the Lebanese schools, which reflect the diversity of the Lebanese plural society, resulting both in the freedom of expression of every Lebanese community, but also the isolation inside one’s sphere. The study objective is to reveal whether the competencies of the teachers who are practicing as Civil Agents are possible to delimit and recommend to teachers’ initial and continuous training. The list of delimited competencies is suggested after evaluation of the effect of the Teachers Civic Agents Competencies on the Civic Agency of their students.
